Q:
What process do you have available to clean
my carpet?
A: ServiceMaster has various options at our disposal to
provide you with the carpet cleaning
services you expect and deserve. These options include hot water extraction,
roto/shampooing,
dry cleaning, and powder cleaning. Exactly which option is best for
your
carpet, and your situation, can be determined by running a few simply tests and
asking
you a few simple questions. All of our processes are proven and guaranteed
safe
for your carpet.

Q: Will steam hurt my carpets?
A: If we have any doubt about the proper process to use on
your carpet we always run tests
to help us determine how we should proceed. It has been proven that steam
cleaning
does not harm your carpets if they are wet cleanable. The question is if steam
cleaning
your carpets will in any way void any warranty you have with your carpet
manufacturer.
If this becomes an issue we would never recommend the steam cleaning
process
to you. We take responsibility for any cleaning process we use and fully stand
by
our work.

Q:
How much will it cost to get my carpet or
upholstery professionally cleaned?
A: Unfortunately, the true answer to this question is “it
depends”. Depends on such factors
like size of area(s) to be cleaned, age of carpet or upholstery, type of carpet
or upholstery
(berber, nylon, etc.), type and amount of spots/stains, whether we need to
move/replace
furniture, your location, and what process we actually use. All of these
issues
can easily be addressed by us asking you a few simple questions. We can then
provide
you with a free estimate for whatever carpet or upholstery cleaning services
you
want us to perform.

Q: Do you provide maid services?
A: Maid service in the sense of us going in and making your
beds, washing your dishes, etc.
the answer to this question would be “no”. With that said, we can go into
your home
and provide some one-time cleaning services like post construction cleaning,
carpet/upholstery
cleaning, drapery cleaning, floor maintenance, etc. Generally
speaking,
if what you want done takes specialized machinery and/or chemicals we can
provide
these services to you.

Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes we are. This should be an important question to ask
any service company
doing work in your home or place of business. You need to make sure that if
something
happens (like a worker getting injured, something is broken, or other
liability
issues crop up) that you, the customer, are properly protected. We carry $2
million
of Liability insurance, $1 million dollars of Pollution insurance (covering
things
like mold, lead paint, etc.), $1 million dollars of Automobile insurance, and
the Statutory
limits of Workmans Compensation insurance. When you hire ServiceMaster
Quality
Services, anyone going into your home or place of business is a direct
employee
of our company and, as such, totally covered by all of our insurance
policies.
This fact gives you the peace of mind knowing that anything unexpected is
covered
by us and backed by insurance.

Q:
Do you move/replace furniture when cleaning
carpets?
A: Yes we do. Our Technicians can basically move almost
anything during our carpet cleaning
process. The type of items we typically do not move are hutches,
entertainment
centers, and beds. Hutches and entertainment centers can be moved, in
most
situations, if all contents are removed prior to our cleaning process to begin.

Q: Do you clean oriental rugs?
A: Yes we do. Proper cleaning of oriental rugs takes
special care and sometime special procedures.
We run test on each oriental rug we clean to determine the proper cleaning
method
needed. These tests are looking for shrinkage, color bleeding, and type of rug
(nylon,
wool, etc.).

Q:
Why should I not go with the cheapest price given
for carpet or upholstery cleaning?
A: You know the old adage that you “sometimes get what
you pay for”? Well, that sometimes
holds true for cleaning services. We are not the cheapest or the most
expensive
company for our services, nor do we desire to be either the cheapest or the
most
expensive. We price our services based on the premise that what we charge will
properly
cover what needs to be done to meet your expectations and allow us to make
a
fair profit for those services. We do not cater to the “low ball” philosophy
just to get the
job and then struggle to provide you with the services that you expect and
deserve. We
also do not cater to having hidden cost in our estimates. The price(s) you are
given will
be for all of the services you asked for.
